New CBSE norms: Board exams for Class X compulsory from 2017

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam


Board exams for Class X are set to become compulsory for all students from 2018 as CBSE's Governing body today "unanimously approved" a proposal in this regard.

At the meeting of the Governing body, its members agreed that from the academic session 2017-18, compulsory Board exams should be introduced for all students of Class X, sources told PTI here.

NEET-UG In Assamese and Bengali for Students of Assam From 2017-18

As  the recent news from the Health Ministry ,NEET-UG 2017 will be in Assamese and Bengali for the students of Assam. It is good that there will be more transparency and no misconduct as said by oficials.

We home the seat reservation for local students in local colleges will be fair enough.



NEW DELHI:  The Union Health Ministry today said that NEET-UG will be conducted in eight languages from the 2017-18 academic year.

The eight languages are Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu and Tamil.




"Under the directions of Health Minister J.P. Nadda, and after rigorous and extensive consultations with state governments about their examination pattern and other related aspects, it has been decided that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) from AY 2017-18 will be conducted in following 8 languages," said the statement.

The ‘Revised Application Form’ and the ‘Detailed Revised Score Card’ currently available on ASRB website (www.asrb.org.in) and ICAR website (www.icar.org.in) should only be used otherwise the application shall not be processed for evaluation/scoring and is liable to be rejected.

The closing date for receipt of applications in ASRB is 09.01.2017.  For applications posted from abroad/notified remote areas, the closing date will be 24.01.2017.
