Applications are invited for the following temporary appointment in the Department of Geology for a period of 3 years under DST-SERB Project titled “Role of multiphase flows in controlling the dynamics of melts and other geological fluids: a theoretical and experimental investigation.”

Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in Geology, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science/IT with minimum 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade.

 

Desirable Qualification: A valid NET/SLET or GATE scores. Experience in MATLAB/FORTRAN or Finite Element Modelling or Computational Fluid Dynamics.

Fellowship:
i) For JRF: Rs. 25000/- P.M. + HRA (as applicable) for NET/SLET or GATE qualified candidates.
ii) For Project Fellow: Rs. 16000/- (Consolidated) for non- NET, non- GATE candidates.
